Class description

Appropriate for all levels of fitness levels, ages and goals? YES!! 

Pilates Lake County offers Mat/Springboard and Reformer group classes for all fitness levels.

Our small class sizes allow the instructors to focus on your personal needs and goals.

Mat/Springboard classes:

Traditional Mat class repertoire in addition to use of Springboard (Tower attachment with leg- and armsprings, roll-down bar and push-trough bar for those who want to add Cadillac-like exercises to their program) and all sorts of different Pilates equipment.

What will it be today? Spine Corrector or Foam Roller?  Magic Circle or Balls?  Our newest addition, the Oov - or all of

the above…This class is never the same twice. Optimum cross-training for all your other activities.  With or without equipment you will challenge and activate deep core muscles. Be ready to find yours!  

At Pilates Lake County, we limit class size to five students in this class so each student gets quality attention and focus. 
 
 

Reformer classes:

 
Feel like floating back and forth on a smoothly gliding carriage? Joseph Pilates' brilliant  concept of the "Reformer", often imitated but never equaled allows the body to engage from the deepest core muscles without you even realizing it. There is something very soothing about the gentle back and forth on a gliding carriage - working with, and against resistance.
This apparatus leads itself to varying gentle and releasing moves with more intense movements
for that so beneficial interval effect, at times also adding the jump board - jumping  and floating
for added cardiovascular benefits with no impact on the joints.
At Pilates Lake County, we limit class size to four students in this class so each student gets
quality attention and focus.
